Annual Family Ski Trip

Every year some of my brothers and sisters get together for a day and go skiing. We take no kids and unfortunately no spouses (only because we can't get them to come with us). It is so fun and we spend most of the day laughing our heads off at each other. This year was a perfect day because the weather was clear and sunny but there was also fresh new powder from the day before. We were all in heaven. I can't wait until next year's family trip already. Thanks fam!

Em thinking she is so hot in her new ski outfit.

Nat, David, and Em just before we took one of the last runs for the day. It got freezing cold.

Avery's little spill

We were in the middle of taking family pictures up at a park. We had just arrived on our new location and we were trying to get everyone out of the car. Avery was the first one out, and with his hands in his pockets, pretends that the ice on the road is a treadmill and starts to run in place. He found out very quickly that that wasn't a great idea. We immediately loaded back in the car and headed down the road to the E.R. instead of finishing taking family pictures obviously. He is doing great now and we did manage to get some pretty cute pictures before the tragic incident.
We did call him Jay Leno for a few days.

Christmas 2008

Kai was a happy little cowboy on his mechanical zebra. He played on that thing all day long.
Gabe and Avery have been begging for a Wii for two years. Looks like Santa finally pulled through for them this year!

Our family has a tradition of gettin up at 6:00 in the morning. We like to be done opening presents just as the sun starts to come up. It seems that one of us wasn't quite ready for that early morning.

Here is the whole crew of us on Christmas morning. As you can tell some of us aren't quite down with the six a.m. thing (Cordie).

All of those fun parties with cousins sure wore everyone out.

Gabe's in Jr. Jazz

Gabe had so much fun playing basketball this fall. He origionally had five kids on the team but the two girls ended up quitting. The rest of the games were played with only three kids on Gabes whole team. They won every game by quite a bit even though the other team always had five players. He had a lot of fun and can't wait until next year already. Good job Gabe!

Family Pictures

My sister in-law, Cordie, took our family pictures. We were lucky to get the good ones when we did, because soon after we got started Avery fell on the ice and cut his chin open. We ended up taking him to the ER where he got stitches. We love the pictures we got, thanks Cordie!
