Yesterday while Kai was down for his nap, I went outside with Gabe and Avery and played for a little while. We built this cute little snowman with prune eyes, a pretzel nose, a peapod mouth and serving spoons for arms. Ya we got a little creative but we had so much fun. After the snowman we had a snowball fight. I love playing with my kids. They are such good boys and I know they are growing up way too fast. I am trying to cherish each little moment with them because I'm sure soon enough they will be way too cool for their MOM. For now, I am proud to be the only girl in their life. I sure love my boys!
I don't know why but since moving back west I feel like we stay at home a lot more. We hardly go anywhere anymore. My poor kids are just sooooo very thankful every time we get out of the house and do something. Gabe has been begging to go to this Airplane museum lately and I finally decided we should check it out. It was so much fun for the kids. They loved seeing all of the big fighter jets and there was even a wright brothers display with some really old airplanes which reminded us of Ohio for a minute. After the museum we went to the gift shop and Gabe and Avery got to get their own personalized dog tags. They thought that was pretty cool. Maybe we should get out more often.
My parents live at the foothills of some beautiful mountains and they recently purchased some cross country skis. We have had so much fun with them this winter. It is so gorgeous being out in the middle of fields full of beautiful white snow and the clear blue sky. I feel like I'm in heaven when I'm out there. Thanks mom and dad for the fun skis. Winters here are so much fun!
